THE COUPLE BEHIND THE WHALE HUYS MAGIC

Whale Huys self catering accommodation was lovingly created by Bruce and Eelco, a Dutch/American couple who – for 20 years – have been regular visitors to this part of South Africa. Bruce and Eelco purchased Whale Huys in April 2014 and applied decades’ worth of travel and holiday rentals experience to creating a relaxed, uncluttered and yet luxurious and homely environment. In 2018 they purchased the smaller bungalow next door (Guppy Huys) and developed it with the same eco principles in mind for guests looking for a smaller alternative to Whale Huys.
